One of the most important skills a nurse has at their disposal is that of communication. Alot of what nurses do is less about physical skills and more about being able to listen and communicate with patients and staff. Your nursing course will place an emphasis on communication so even if your shy or quiet you'll be taught effective communication methods so that you can become a good nurses.
