To be a nurse you should be able to answer yes to all of these questions:

• Can you listen as well as talk, or be able to undertake learning to facilitate this?

• Can you be non-judgemental when caring for patients?
  

• Can you handle a lifetime of learning?

• Do you have the required level of qualifications?

• Are you a 'people' person?

• Are you at least 17?

• Do you keep health?

• Do you have a clean criminal record?
